National Domestic Violence Hotline- ndvh.org - Rhea Almeida was invited to participate in the Decade for Change Summit.
The NDVH launched its 10 year anniversary by hosting a Decade for Change Summit, convening leaders in the domestic violence field and new partners for a series of three meetings that were held in Washington, D.C; Dallas, Texas; and Los Angeles, California between October 2006 and February 2007.
Key themes grew out of this Summit, with strategic recommendations to shift public perception about domestic violence, expand education efforts, target young children and launch efforts to influence men through public awareness and community-based outreach.

APVI- apiahf.org - Serves as a forum for, and clearinghouse on information, research, resources and critical issues about violence against women in Asian and Pacific Islander communities. Generation Five- GenerationFive.org - This is an activist organization committed to ending sexual violence against children in the next five decades. The IFS faculty have provided trainings in social justice to Gen 5 to enhance their vision of bringing libratory practices to diverse communities.

Affinity Counseling -Affinity Counseling Group is a family/community-based organization involved in liberation-based therapy, training and research. They have replicated the Cultural Context Model (CCM) for youth and their families. For more information go to: www.affinitycounseling.com/.

CCF - The Council on Contemporary Families (CCF) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to enhancing the national conversation about what contemporary families need and how these needs can best be met. The AFTA Systemic Response to Disaster Action Group - A group of AFTA members coming together in order to work collaboratively with community groups who are dealing directly with the aftermath of disasters. CCM Research -
Austin Texas – Gail Rice at Safe Place is collaborating with Drs. Marilyn Armor and Noel Busch at the School of Social Work, University of Texas, to replicate the Cultural Context Model (CCM).
 
San Diego, California - Research conducted at San Diego State on the CCM is complete. Dr. Pilar Hernandez is the lead investigator. Click here for more information.

Dr. Hernandez is currently continuing her research on the CCM at Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, Maryland.
 
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania – Research initiatives are underway with Dr. Carolyn Tubbs at Drexel University.
