Emilia Williams (she/her) is a faculty member with the Institute for Family Services. She received her MSW from Virginia Commonwealth University and she is currently receiving Post Graduate Training with IFS. She looks forward to incorporating the Liberation Based Healing framework into her future practice, finding ways to bring equity in the lives of families and communities. Prior to pursuing clinical social work, Emilia earned her BA in Anthropology at the College of William and Mary and was a legal assistant at an immigration law firm in Virginia, advocating for children and families who immigrated to the US.
